I have had the Tandoor for a little while now and have used it a few times. I am extremely impressed with the Tandoor itself. Even though I have not mastered the cooking techniques yet, I have been very happy with the food I’ve made; and I’m very glad I bought the accessories to cook while the Tandoor is heating. The walls are thick and do an amazing job with holding the heat. I bought the Aladdin, and the price is more than worth it. I wish I had a big enough place to order 10 of them (of course through Aleksey) and invite the whole city over.

I could definitely say that the Dastarkhan tandoor is one of the best addition to our home. We've had this tandoor for about a year and half, and have used it a whole lot. The tandoor has been and continues to be the talk among my circle of friends. And my home has been the favorite "goto" hangout place (pre-COVID). We've cooked a variety of food in this contraption... including bread and pizza. This has so much cooking space that it cooking for a party was not a problem... that a lot of folks enjoyed hanging out around the tandoor. To start, I have to compliment the customer service for their quick response and fantastic care. I had the pleasure to deal with Arthur who was extremely helpful and timely in his replies.
My tandoor took a bit longer to deliver to Dubai due to COVID situation unfortunately, and had a few missing items.
However when I informed customer service they profusely apologized and shipped all the missing items immediately free of charge.
The tandoor itself is nothing short of a piece of art, everyone was impressed by how well it was made and designed, and exceeded my expectations in how easy it is to fire up and how delicious it makes any food you cook in it. I have a woodfired oven as well and the tandoor fortunately uses much less wood and need shorter time to reach optimal cooking temperatures.

If you enjoy cooking/ grilling outside than tha's the way to go. I have 4 grills, gas, charcoal, pellets, wood chunks ...what a waste of money, time and effort compared to this tandoor. End up buying Aladdin, what a piece of art! Read the instructions and take it easy on heating it up, i spent one hour and only few minor hairline cracks formed. Much smaller then anticipated. I ordered the Aladdin back in early January, it was on back-order. I received it at the end of February along with accessories. Overall the process was stress-free and relatively easy. luxury-tandoors.com answered all my questions and was extremely patient before, during, and after the order process. Item arrived well packaged (take a look at photos), on a pallet, and well secured. It was delivered by local LTL and they did call ahead to schedule a delivery day/time with me. From the first moment we began corresponding with the Luxury Tandoors company we was impressed. This was a large purchase of an item we had never used before so we were a bit nervous. They answered all questions promptly and also contacted us by phone to make sure all of our questions and concerns were covered. We cannot say enough about the customer service we received. That customer service continued after the sale and this impressed us. We were nervous about it being shipped. We were nervous about it arriving and not being able to move it from our driveway. We were nervous about our first cooking experience. We were just nervous. Period. All fears we realize now were unfounded as we had no issues at all in shipping, or receiving it and moving it to its resting spot, nor with cooking in it. It is very straight forward. Questions about procedures and ideas of what to cook were met with recipes, suggestions and step by step instructions from Mo and his team. We have placed our big beautiful Tandoor right in our courtyard for everyone to see and it has become the focal point of our entertaining. We place our chairs all around it as it fires up and what comes out is impressive and gives your guests (and yourselves) an experience in taste you have never had before. You can make anything from pizza to salmon to traditional skewers of luscious kabobs in these things. We love our new Tandoor and wondered why we waited so long to get one. Amazing! Thank you Mo for introducing us to a new experience that will bring us many new culinary adventures.Update: We have had this Tandoor for the summer now (see our big beautiful Aladdin model below). I've always wanted to make tandoori chicken and naan in a tandoor and when I saw these beautiful tandoors, I knew I had to have one. If you're expecting the ease of firing up a gas BBQ then this is probably not for you. Cooking with wood or charcoal definitely takes time and your attention. In my opinion, the flavour that is imparted from using wood is well worth the time and effort. It's taken a few tries to get the high temperatures of a traditional tandoor but after adding enough fuel I think I've mastered it. Have have had tandoor Khan for more than a year now. Using it at least once a week (weather permitting). Even took it onto a camping trip! (got a hand-truck and a ramp and it fits nicely into my van). Anyways - I do recommend this product. Heavy duty and hold heat for good while.
